Support the People who Support our Ride!
Three more great companies and EDR alumni have pledged their generous support for next year's ride. Of course, our good friends Whitneye and Jason from Flyrite Choppers are sponsoring the event. Jason and his Flyrite crew came on the EDR year one, but were forced to miss the ride last year due to schedule conflicts with other events in their home town of Austin, Texas. When we visited Jason and Whitneye in Austin earlier this year, they told us the will do their damnedest to join us for the fun in 2008. We look forward to it, and can't wait to see what kind of cool bike Jason builds for next year's bike show. Three-time EDR riders will remember that Jason's Puta de Oro won the very first EDR bike show in 2006.
The next new sponsor is another three-time alum on the EDR experience. Trumpnut Nick's wife is an ecclectic artiste in the same guise as her mad scientist husband, so she has started a company called Cycle Cosmetics. The Cycle Cosmetics website is under construction, but you will be able to see her offerings to the chopper gods some time in the near future. Thanks for your generous support to Mr. and Mrs. McLean, and best wishes for the newest member of their family.
Representing the right coast we've got Kickstart Cycle coming out of Jersey. We tore ass through New England earlier in the year with Walter and Darrin and they are two stand up dudes who "get it". Hard riding honest guys that will fit right in on the EDR 08. Their website isn't up yet, but if you click their logo it'll send you to Walter's email. If you need parts, service or strip club pointers in and around NJ, give these guys a holler.
The final new EDR sponsor is Gabe from After Hours Choppers. Gabe went on the EDR last year, and his company makes what I think is the coolest taillight in the business. Check it out by clicking the AHC logo on our home page.
To everyone at FRC, CC, KSC and AHC, thanks for your support.
